Raj MandekarRajesh Mandekar first earned his culinary degree in Mumbai, India. His professional experience began in a five-star hotel restaurant in Mumbai; then as chef on the Princess Cruise line, chef in Bermuda, and in two Indian restaurants in Manhattan, NY. He came to New England to earn a second culinary degree at the Cordon Bleu affiliate, Atlantic Culinary Academy in Dover, NH. He specializes in Indian, French and Italian cuisines.

Janet HoweJanet Howe was the original founder/chef of Tulsi and had operated a catering company for 10 years. Her cooking learning experience began with her Swedish grandmother and had continued through self-study, specialty cooking classes and hands-on experiences. She specialized in French country, Indian, Lebanese and Swedish cuisine as well as with American comfort food.  Tulsi continues to celebrate and honor Janet’s vision & life by creating foods and an atmosphere that nurtures the body while empowering the soul.
